Every time I hear Orrin Hatch's name, the bile rises in my stomach, threatening to choke me. If any of you were around to see his performance on the Iran/Contra investigation you would have the same reaction. He acted as an enabler and apologist for the criminals; Ollie North, Caspar Weinberger and John Poindexter. All were guilty of acts that could only be called treasonous (supplying America's enemies with high-tech weapons, funding an undeclared war against a popular elected government.) All were either cleared on legal technicalities or pardoned by the next president, George H. W. Bush. Poindexter went on to head the TIA (Total Information Awareness) program that morphed into the NSA's warrantless wiretapping program. Nothing has changed. Hatch is such a snake, you could probably find a pile of moulted skins under his desk.SadButTrue Homepage 06.27.06 - 9:13 am #
