This is London (Evening Standard) Al Qaida claims responsibility

We knew this was coming. Deep down. It came to Madrid. There was too much joy in the UK, the Olympics, in Scotland, G8. Something had to give.

Remember the Ayotollah (sp) and the hijackings of the 70's? There were no immediate killings. The terrorists would at least come to the table and negotiate for what they wanted, even if it took 444 days. Now, fast forward to the last ten years: there is no negotiation. It is "Taliban" or DEATH, There is no coming to the table. It is all about blowing up the table and killing the people who would come to the table, there are NO TERMS. The Israelis know what to do. Fight. Maybe they need to consider the meaning of the word:

Annihilation.
